Service Description

New to sewing or feeling a bit out of practice? This beginner-friendly class with The Sewcial Club is the perfect place to start. You’ll learn how to set up and thread a sewing machine, wind a bobbin, sew straight lines and seams, and finish your edges neatly — all in a relaxed, creative atmosphere. You don't have to have your own sewing machine - I will provide a basic machine for the lesson and handouts are also available. ✂️ What You’ll Learn - Functions and parts of the machine - Threading - Winding a bobbin - Changing a needle - Sewing seams, straight lines, curves, and corners - Reverse stitching and finishing seams - A taste of decorative stitching No experience needed All equipment and materials provided — just bring yourself! Refreshments and biscuits included By the end, you’ll feel confident using a sewing machine and ready to progress onto learning more.
